Brendan is an Emmy-nominated TV comedy writer and producer who specializes in pop culture and politics. He has worked on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Simpsons and Robot Chicken, and was the showrunner for Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai, Harvey Girls Forever! and Dawn of the Croods. Part of the writing team for America: The Book, Brendan has also written comic books for DC Comics, Oni Press and BOOM! Studios, and regularly appears on comedy podcasts including The Flop House, Jordan Jesse Go! and Great Pop Culture Debate. Brendan was once even called the “Best Svengali of Animation” by SF Weekly. He’s still not sure what that means but chooses to take it as a compliment.
