The Nicest Places in America is Reader’s Digest’s yearly search for places where people are kind, differences are celebrated and people work together to make their communities better. In 2024, Provo, Utah, took the top honor after citizens created a blueprint for prevention in the face of a youth suicide epidemic, saving countless lives in Provo and beyond as they shared their knowledge with the rest of the country. This year, for our ninth annual celebration, we’re looking for even more places where people get creative to help one another.
