Why is Krispy Kreme giving away free doughnuts on Nov. 13?

Krispy Kreme, which operates in 40 countries, is giving away free doughnuts to the first 500 guests at participating locations in celebration of World Kindness Day—no purchase necessary!

Established by the World Kindness Movement in 1998, World Kindness Day is a powerful reminder to spread joy with random acts of kindness across the globe. The November observance is the perfect opportunity for companies like Krispy Kreme to inspire good deeds in their communities. And honestly, there’s no better way to brighten someone’s day than with free doughnuts.

“World Kindness Day is a reminder that we can all make a positive impact in people’s lives, including through small gestures like sharing a sweet treat,” Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme’s global chief brand officer, said in a statement.

How many Krispy Kreme doughnuts will you get on Nov. 13?

The first 500 guests at each participating Krispy Kreme location will score a dozen original glazed doughnuts for free. That’s right—a full dozen! With this giveaway, Krispy Kreme will be handing out a whopping 6,000 free doughnuts per store. 

“We hope that each dozen original glazed doughnuts we give away enables and inspires many dozens of small acts of kindness,” Skena said. 

This free offer is available in Krispy Kreme shops and drive-thrus at each participating U.S. location.
