Epic cruise deals can be hard to score these days, and as someone who has taken 11 cruises in 2024 alone, I know a thing or two about finding for them. My search always begins with excitement but often starts to feel like a part-time job as I compare and contrast different cruise lines, itineraries, ships and dates. To finally find a sailing that meets my budget, I usually end up having to make some compromises in my vacation plans.
So you can imagine my delight upon learning about Celebrity Cruises’s incredibly early Black Friday deal—it’s an offer that’s too good to pass up. In fact, I’ve already booked a qualifying Caribbean cruise with one of my best friends aboard the line’s newest ship, the Celebrity Ascent, and we are counting down the days until embarkation.

Passengers can save up to 75% on the second guest in their stateroom with the Celebrity Cruises Black Friday deal. And depending on the cruise and stateroom you book, you can save up to an additional $500 off the base fare for a four-person stateroom.
When it comes to the ships, there’s no need to make any compromises here: Travelers can even save on a trip aboard the brand-new Celebrity Xcel, which the cruise line plans to launch in the Caribbean in November 2025. It’ll be Celebrity’s fifth Edge Series cruise ship.
Black Friday isn’t the only day you can take advantage of Celebrity Cruises’s discount. You have until Dec. 9, 2024, to cash in on this deal.
It applies to trips departing from Nov. 8, 2024, through May 10, 2027. Celebrity does an excellent job seamlessly catering to multiple demographics on its sleek and modern ships: couples in their 30s, 40s and 50s; families with young kids and teens; and seniors or retirees looking to relax at sea. The line offers diverse cuisine options, excellent entertainment and onboard activities (including a kids club), luxurious spa treatments and unforgettable shore excursions.

Location: Caribbean and Mediterranean
As the newest ship with the most bells and whistles, Celebrity Ascent has an expanded Retreat area for those who want a more exclusive ship-within-a-ship experience (think: private restaurant, sundeck, lounge and more). There are 32 restaurants and bars onboard, a peaceful rooftop garden, an adults-only solarium, a Vegas-style casino and a cantilevered floating platform 13 stories above sea level on which you can enjoy live music and a cocktail.

Launched in 2012, Celebrity Reflection is the final and largest Solstice-class cruise ship. (Its sister ships include Celebrity Equinox, Celebrity Eclipse, Celebrity Solstice and Celebrity Silhouette.) It tends to do three- and four-night sailings priced around $125 per night, making them a great deal.
This ship has everything you want in a vacation: shows, Camp at Sea for kids, a lawn with real grass on the top deck perfect for bocce or a picnic, a spa, fitness classes, a pickleball court and a glassblowing studio.
Location: Alaska and Caribbean
There’s no better way to see Alaska than by sea, and Celebrity Summit can take you there. Yes, this is one of the older ships in the fleet (launched in 2001), but its smaller size makes it perfect for navigating the glacial waters and inlets. Be sure to book a room with a balcony—you can hear calving glaciers and see wildlife from the comfort of your own room.
